Against all odds, past precedent, magic 8-ball predictions, and throwing of chicken bones, the most unbelievable thing happened today.
Mal'ganis was stable enough to raid on patch day.
This first wing of Icecrown was fun, and a really nice change of pace from spending the last 4 months locked in a little round room. Doing trash again was okay, though I'm sure it will become tedious before long. There were a number of surprise trash encounters, where a GIGANTIC ZOMBIE THING appeared out of nowhere when we thought a pull was going to be easy, but altogether pretty satisfying. The boss encounters are fun enough, with rough descriptions like "Well, imagine Lord Najentus in Phase 1, but add a saber lash and then Leotheras Phase 2" getting us through. We got as far as 8% on Deathbringer Saurfang before we had to call it a night, but we should have no problem finishing him off, and then... waiting... for a month.

Lord Jaraxxus and Faction Champions now complete in heroic Coliseum 25. Hilarious wipes on Twin Val'kyrs inc.
Last two heroic 10 mans resulted in 48 and 49 remaining attempts. We'll get our tribute yet!

So bad at posting news...
So, we killed Anub in 25, as well as Heroic 10 man the first week, and are now clearing 2x25 mans and 4 10 mans per weeks, and starting work on the Heroic 25. I never took a screenshot of Anub, so here you go:
Perhaps I'll remember to post progress in 25 heroic.
